Speak Up about Hate Crime!

Has someone hit you or shouted abuse at you because you are gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender or did someone mistreat you because they thought you were? Hate Crime can be any behaviour which is perceived by anyone to be motivated by prejudice or hate, and it is illegal! If you have been affected by hate crime or know someone who has, we can help!

Call us on 0800 023 2201 or email us at help@ecwales.org.uk in total confidence.
You can even stay anonymous if you prefer!

If you want to report it directly to the police you can do so by calling your local police station or you can fill in the Safer Wales' Hate Incident Reporting Form

If you are afraid about reporting to the police because you're not sure how you're going to be treated or if you are not sure whether what happened should be reported and would like advice, we can support you all the way.

By working with Safer Wales and all the police forces and a network of support agencies, we can put an end to hate crime and make sure that you receive the help and support you need.

However, if you do not want to make a formal report, we can still provide you with support!

By letting you know what happened you can get help whilst also helping us making sure that things like these never happen again!
