Vision:
A vibrant, viable and valued LGBT third sector in Wales.

Mission:
The Council will champion, develop and support Wales’ diverse LGBT third sector, so that all have the capacity, skills and resources to continue and build on their work. The Council will achieve this through working with Government and other bodies, maintaining membership networks, managing data and information, and providing support services.

Strategic Aims:
The Council will have 5 key strategic aims or strategies for future activities:
1. Work with government and statutory agencies to ensure that the issues and views of LGBT third sector organisations are represented and heard
2. Ensure that other generic voluntary sector bodies and funders are aware of the needs of LGBT third sector organisations in order to provide inclusive and appropriate support.
3. Enhance the capacity, skills and opportunities of LGBT third sector organisations
4. Gather information, knowledge and data from LGBT third sector organisations for the benefit of the sector as a whole; and for future generations.
5. Pilot new ideas in order to demonstrate new models, opportunities and emerging good practice for the benefit of the LGBT third sector.
