Minister for Social Justice and Local Government Carl Sargeant AM and Motorcycle Racer and Patron Michael Hill are today supporting a leading Welsh equality charity for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people that is launching a new accreditation for businesses and organisations in Wales.

In the last month, we have seen the tragic attacks on 62-year-old Ian Baynham in London and 22-year-old trainee constable James Parkes in Liverpool. Both attacks were carried out by gangs of youths and resulted in the death of Ian and serious head injuries for James, but the majority of crimes against gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people still go unreported.
